Gamo Community Television

Gamo Community Television is a community television station
established based on the Gamo, Gidicho and Zeise communities.
It is a community television organization that provides
information to the Ethiopian community in three languages:
Gamo, Zeise, Gidicho and Amharic, in addition to promoting
development initiatives, cultural values, natural resources
and historical events in the Gamo zone.

Vison

To be seen as one of the top 3 leading media institutions in Ethiopia by 2030, a primary source of information that has earned the trust of the public through its content and presentation.

Mission

To provide informative, educational and entertaining news, programs and music content using modern broadcasting technology to promote the culture, language and history of the people of the zone and to create national and regional understanding.

Manguday Mercho (Ph.D. in ELT)

General Manager

Dr. Manguday Mercho, General Manager of Gamo TV, holds a Ph.D. in ELT. He has seven years of teaching experience at ArbaMinch University, four years as a public relations officer, and one year as Communication Vice Director. His extensive background in education and communication drives Gamo TV's mission to inform and engage the community.
Beyene Asfaw Amuno (M.A. in TEFL)
Deputy Manager
Beyene Asfaw Amuno, Deputy Manager of Gamo TV, holds a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). He has eight years of teaching experience at Arbaminch Teaching College and additional experience at Geressie Secondary School. He is also an accomplished author, having written two books: Gamoththo Maado Maxaafe and Gamoththo Qawosa Maxaafe.
